
Project Elimu invites qualified and reputable contractors to submit bids for the construction of the Stella & Adam Center (S.A.P.E) in Kibera, Nairobi.
The Stella & Adam Center is a multi-functional facility designed to serve as a hub for learning, creativity, and empowerment. The centre will include spaces and amenities that nurture holistic growth, innovation, and community well-being.
Dance studios
STEM & computer lab
Safe house & counselling spaces
Library & kitchen area
Vocational training rooms
Rooftop relaxation space
Child-friendly infrastructure (toilets, washrooms & water storage)
The project integrates eco-friendly systems — including energy efficiency, rainwater harvesting, waste reduction, and green landscaping — to promote environmental responsibility and long-term sustainability.

Full execution of core building works and quality finishing aligned with project standards.
Supply and installation of efficient electrical systems and modern plumbing infrastructure.
Elegant interior installations to support learning and community activities within the facility.
Creation of green outdoor and rooftop spaces for recreation and sustainability.
Incorporation of eco-friendly technologies, energy efficiency, and water conservation systems.
Eligible applicants must be legally registered and licensed to operate in Kenya, with up-to-date documentation confirming active status.
Bidders must demonstrate proven experience in community-based or educational infrastructure projects, highlighting similar completed works.
Applicants must provide evidence of strong financial standing and adequate technical expertise to undertake a project of this scale with quality assurance.
All participants must submit valid compliance certificates including NCA registration, tax compliance, and any other relevant statutory approvals.
The contractor should demonstrate willingness to collaborate with the Kibera community throughout the project to promote inclusivity, employment, and shared ownership.
